Who are we?

We are a worker-owned agency that designs, builds and supports websites for purpose-driven organisations. We have experience working directly with councils and can provide a range of services including development, design, training, consultancy and support of both LocalGov Drupal and its Microsites distribution. 

What is LocalGov Drupal?

LocalGov Drupal is an open-source content management system (CMS) based on the Drupal framework that is specifically designed for local government organisations. 

LocalGov Drupal is developed with the goal of empowering local governments to build and maintain your websites efficiently and effectively. It offers pre-built modules, themes, and configurations that are specifically designed for your users’ needs, enabling you to provide services, share information, and engage with your communities online.

Some of the key features of LocalGov Drupal include:

  • Government-specific functionality: LocalGov Drupal provides out-of-the-box features that can easily be customised and flexible, such as meeting agendas and minutes, service directories, public consultations, job listings, events calendars, and more.
  • Accessibility and compliance: The platform adheres to web accessibility standards, ensuring that your website is inclusive and can be accessed by all your users.
  • Integration with government systems: The platform supports integration with various government systems, such as CRM systems, document management systems, GIS tools, and more. This enables seamless data sharing and enhances the overall efficiency of government operations.
  • Microsites: From one installation, this distribution allows easy, centralised administration of multiple customisable, distinct websites. We have been a leading technical partner for LocalGov Drupal since 2020, overseeing the technical development of the platform and governance through Discovery, Alpha, and Beta phases as well as building the Microsites distribution in 2022.
