Richard Rowley
Designer, Project manager, UX, Business development
Richard brings his inimitable, elegant flair to every role he undertakes.
He's a very experienced designer who can help you re-imagine your project from the ground up. As a project manager his understanding of all the strands of work is invaluable to make the project a success. He can even get his hands dirty with some front-end development when needed.
Life before Agile Collective
Richard studied English at UEA, QMUL and Oxford before going on to teach English as a foreign language for five years in various locations such as Krasnodar and Madrid.
Richard found his love of design moonlighting as a poster designer while doing his PhD in early modern literature. His lives intersected for a while as he designed and built sites for Oxford's university colleges at a time when a one-person-band could still do such a thing.
He's been with Agile Collective since day 0.
When Richard's not at work
Richard tries to find peace with his abandoned PhD by teaching Shakespeare and the history of comedy to Oxford undergrads. He also consults on design thinking, creativity and communication.
At the weekend he captains his local cricket team to modest greatness, and occasionally jaunts overseas to play or watch the game. He loves theatre, to travel and dreams of building his own house one day. Even more he'd love to have his own garden.
